Filipinos are known as charming, meritorious and praiseworthy people. They have an idiosyncratic culture of theirs and widely known as hospitable ones.
But how did he face a colonization worth of three hundred years of pain and suffering? How come he can afford to laugh at times like this? And how did he manage to survive the onslaught? Is it because he can be pliant like a bamboo?
